Fintech’te çalışan bir yazılım mühendisiyim ve çalışmalarımı iklim teknolojileri, açık veri ve özgür yazılım kesişiminde sürdürüyorum. Bölgesel iklim modellemeleri, açık yeniden analiz veri setleri ve hidrolojik modelleme iş akışlarıyla afet analizi üzerine çalıştım. Teknik üretimin yalnızca mühendislik meselesi olmadığını; veri, model ve yazılım tercihlerinin kamusal sonuçlar doğurduğunu düşünüyorum.

İklim krizi çağında şeffaf, denetlenebilir ve yeniden üretilebilir teknolojilerin etik bir zorunluluk olduğuna inanıyorum. Bu nedenle özgür ve açık kaynaklı yazılımı yalnızca teknik bir tercih değil, kamusal sorumluluğun bir parçası olarak görüyorum.

I am a software engineer working at fintech with the intersection of climate technologies, open data, and free and open-source software. My work includes regional climate modeling, open reanalysis datasets, and hydrological modeling workflows applied to disaster analysis. I believe that technological production is never purely technical; decisions about data, models, and software carry public consequences.

In the era of climate crisis, I see transparency, auditability, and reproducibility not as optional qualities but as ethical requirements. For this reason, I approach free and open-source software not merely as a technical preference, but as part of a broader responsibility toward the public.
